Wisconsin Law (sec73.03 (38), Wis. Stats.) requires that each operator of a swap meet, flea market, craft fair, or similar event must report to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue the name, address, social security number, and the Wisconsin seller’s permit number (if available) of each vendor selling merchandise at the event. Once your application has been reviewed and accepted we may contact you to provide us with your social security number or Wisconsin seller’s permit number.

Farm market produce is not permitted. Soaps, hand lotions and other related handmade products must have labeling approved by the Weights & Measures division of the Appleton Health Department.


Appleton’s Octoberfest booths will be located on College Avenue. Please review the map, prior to making your selection, as numbers and locations have changed.

Appleton’s Octoberfest takes place rain or shine on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Booth fees are due by June 5, 2023.

The booth fee is non-refundable with the following exception:
In the event that Appleton’s Octoberfest is cancelled for any reason, booth fees may be refunded at the sole discretion of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc.

You are responsible for your own tables, chairs, and booth furnishings. Appleton’s Octoberfest begins at 9:00AM and continues until 6:00PM. You may begin to set up after 5:30AM (once the Appleton Police Department deems it safe to begin). All vehicles must be removed from the site by 8:00AM.

Your booth must remain set up until the event ends and you cannot bring vehicles onto College Avenue until authorized by the Appleton Police Department, usually around 6:15PM.

Any special needs you may have we will do our best to accommodate.

Fee is $150 per booth. You will have twelve feet (12′) of depth and each booth is twelve feet (12′) wide.

***Compliance with current COVID protocol will be required of all Vendors. This may include, but may not be limited to, the use of masks and hand sanitizers as well as appropriate booth spacing.
